Rocking up to breakfast at 8.30am can be a tough job on a Saturday, but my visit to Enter Neighbour, in Camberwell, made my morning so much better! We were invited to try some of their breakfast dishes and we were not disappointed.
Enter Neighbour, while located in Camberwell, is not in the hustle and bustle of Bourke Rd with all of the other popular cafés in the area. It is located at the cross of Toorak Rd/Burwood Highway and Camberwell Rd and could easily be missed on the drive past. The café is small, but well fitted and has about 8 tables inside and 3 outside.
Their menu boasts a broad range of menu items considering the size of the kitchen. After perusing their Insta page, we decided to order the panna cotta and the hot cakes. We were eyeing off the Eggs Benny as well, but it was early and we didn’t want to order something that we couldn’t finish. Another blogger, while we were there, ordered the Eggs Benny and I got some major FOMO.
The Madagascan Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta ($15) was a small serve, but my god was it tasty. The owner said that people usually order it to share after having a savoury main, and this is exactly what I will do when I visit again. The passionfruit gel, lemon soil & fresh berries were a lovely accompaniment. The consistency was spot on and the presentation was beautiful.

My friend ordered the Scotch Pancakes ($16.50) that came served with caramelised banana, fresh strawberries, chocolate sauce, coffee soil & Neighbour’s Secret Coffee Mascarpone. This serve was a bit larger and my friend struggled to finish it. She said that the banana was beautiful and the combination of flavours was ace.

The staff at Enter Neighbour are super friendly and very keen to make sure that you enjoy your visit. The coffee tastes great and the food is beautiful and packed with flavour. When I visit next, I will definitely be trying the Eggs Benny and maybe the Spiced Cider Bircher J
Thanks for having us, team!
