I visited Stoned Pizza, on Chapel St, with my Dad for lunch today and we had the whole place to ourselves for the duration of our visit. The shop fit-out is excellent and there is a gorgeous courtyard out the back, that is suitable for all weather conditions.
We ordered one menu item off each section and demolished everything. We ordered the Cured Beast, Simple & Stoned pizzas and the chicken wings, with an Easy E beer and a rosé.

The Cured Beast had proscuitto, parmesan, fior de latte and proscuitto, which was delicious. It was a pretty standard pizza, with a delicious and fresh pizza base. There was waaay too much rocket on the top though.

The Simple & Stoned pizza came with caramelised onion, goats feta, fior de latte, parmesan, honey and rosemary. This was both mine and Dad's favourite. We did however, move some of the proscuitto from the other pizza over to the slices on this one and it tasted way better. The pizza base on this one was delish - it was like herb bread topped with toppings. The caramelised onion was very sweet, but was equaled out by the saltiness of the cheese.

The chicken wings were so tasty - they came in a bourbon bbq sauce served with ranch dressing. I had to fight Dad for them. They went very nicely with our drinks.

The venue is gorgeous, but gets a bit lost in between two popular brunch spots on Chapel St. Next time you're thinking of hitting up Mr & Mrs Anderson for lunch, try Stoned Pizza instead - you won't be disappointed :)
